    MARSHALL COUNTY Highway Department is taking applications to fill full-time or part-time truck/blade driver position. This would require road maintenance, including snow removal, ditch mowing, truck driving with a Class A CDL, general equipment maintenance, and/or motor grader operator – any shop location (Britton, Langford, Eden, Veblen). Applicant is subject to pre-hire and random Alcohol and Drug testing. Applications and interviews will be accepted at Marshall County Highway Department.   • Deputy Sheriff position
    The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office has an immediate opening for TWO full-time deputy sheriffs. Hours vary but may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.  A certified officer is preferred, but not required.  Benefits included are Health Insurance, State Retirement Plan, Vacation and Sick Leave. Candidate must pass a background check and pass a drug screen.  Applicant must meet hiring requirements as set forth by the South Dakota Law Enforcement Commission. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining order/protecting life and property by enforcing local, tribal, state, or federal laws and ordinances, patrolling jurisdictional area, directing traffic; issue traffic warnings/citations; investigate accidents; apprehend and arrest suspects and provide civil paper service for public and private entities. Wage: Depends on experience and years of service.

  • Dispatcher
    Applications are being accepted for immediate full time dispatcher. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with good listening skills and be able to multi-task, must be able to be certified within one year of hire, must submit to a hearing and drug test.     Marshall County Ambulance is seeking EMT’s to join our team. You must be able to provide quality, compassionate, and personalized health care. Scheduling includes on call hours, weekends and holidays. Previous ambulance service, and/or hospital experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
