  • Highway Department
    Applications are being accepted to fill a full time opening for a motor-grader position for the Britton shop. This would require summer and winter road maintenance; possible ditch mowing, truck driving with CDL (required), and general equipment maintenance. Person located in or near Britton would be preferred but not required. Applications will be required to take a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and hired employees are subject to random drug and alcohol testing. We are an EOE. 448-2301.

  • Deputy Sheriff position
    The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office has an immediate opening for TWO full-time deputy sheriffs. Hours vary but may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.  A certified officer is preferred, but not required.  Benefits included are Health Insurance, State Retirement Plan, Vacation and Sick Leave. Candidate must pass a background check and pass a drug screen.  Applicant must meet hiring requirements as set forth by the South Dakota Law Enforcement Commission. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining order/protecting life and property by enforcing local, tribal, state, or federal laws and ordinances, patrolling jurisdictional area, directing traffic; issue traffic warnings/citations; investigate accidents; apprehend and arrest suspects and provide civil paper service for public and private entities. Wage: Depends on experience and years of service.

  • Dispatcher
    Applications are being accepted for immediate full time dispatcher. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with good listening skills and be able to multi-task, must be able to be certified within one year of hire, must submit to a hearing and drug test. Scheduling includes on call hours, weekends and holidays. Previous ambulance service, and/or hospital experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
