  • Director of Equalization

    Duties: Responsible for overall planning, operation, and supervision of the Marshall County Equalization Office, which includes performing technical, supervisory and administrative work to assess the value of all real property within Marshall County for tax purposes, according to SDCL. The Director of Equalization is appointed by and reports to the Marshall County Board of Commissioners.
    Qualifications:  Preferred: CAA Certification by the SD Department of Revenue and Regulations.  Required:  If not certified, applicants must be prepared to quickly obtain certifications.  The successful applicant should possess strong skills in computers, communication, office administration, and ability to interact well with the public.
    Salary:  Competitive, depending upon qualifications and experience, and includes full time benefits.
  • Highway Department
    MARSHALL COUNTY Highway Department is taking applications to fill full-time or part-time truck/blade driver position. This would require road maintenance, including snow removal, ditch mowing, truck driving with a Class A CDL, general equipment maintenance, and/or motor grader operator – any shop location (Britton, Langford, Eden, Veblen). Applicant is subject to pre-hire and random Alcohol and Drug testing. Applications and interviews will be accepted at Marshall County Highway Department.   • Ambulance EMT
    Marshall County Ambulance is seeking EMT’s to join our team. You must be able to provide quality, compassionate, and personalized health care. Scheduling includes on call hours, weekends and holidays. Previous ambulance service, and/or hospital experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
