  • The Marshall County Highway Department is taking applications to fill a part-time opening with possibility of becoming full-time motor-grader position for the Eden shop. This would require summer and winter road maintenance, ditch mowing, truck driving with CDL, and general equipment maintenance. Person located in or near Eden would be preferred. Applications will be required to take a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and hired employees are subject to random drug and alcohol testing.   • Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for a Deputy Sheriff position. Applicants must be 21 years of age, certified preferred or be certifiable through Law Enforcement Standards. Benefits include paid holiday, sick leave, vacation, health insurance, overtime, on-call pay, and South Dakota Retirement System.   • Applications are being accepted for immediate fill-in dispatcher and also a full-time dispatcher in the near future. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with good listening skills and be able to multi-task, must be able to be certified within one year of hire, must submit to a hearing and drug test.   • Part-time Maintenance person for Marshall County Courthouse, Community Building and Ambulance Building. Will be required to do daily maintenance of buildings, offices and grounds.  Applications are available at the Marshall County Auditor’s office or in the link below. EOE.
